The Contrin Hut

On the huge meadow where now stands the Contrin mountain hut, there was nothing more than a small barn. This belonged to the famous climber and film producer Luis Trenker. Thanks to the friendship with the grandfather Anton, who has worked for years his fields, he sold the meadow to the Nogler Kostner family.

Reinhard began in 1995 with the construction of the hut which was inaugurated in 1996. Since then he runs the agritourism “Malga Contrin” together with his wife Christine and their children David, Lukas and Johannes. The name “Contrin” was inspired by the family farm "Contruni" in the village of Bulla.
